Our 2021 season has come to an end. We lost to Laurelton in Playoffs on 8/3, with a score of 10-32. Our only 2 losses this year were to Laurelton.

Plan on next year's raffle being held around same time of year, with tickets going out in January 2021. We will monitor the pandemic and adjust accordingly in regards to another virtual event or regular live, in-person event. Sorry for the modified experience, and thank you for your support!!
The Pea Pickers softball team competed in the league championship game at McAvoy Park on Tuesday night versus Ridge-Culver. It was a slow start to the game, but by the end of the 5th inning, the Pea Pickers found themselves down 11-4. They rallied in the bottom of the 6th to score 7 runs to tie the score heading into the final inning. The defense held strong sending down the Ridge-Culver batters in order, 1-2-3. In the bottom of the 7th, the Pea Pickers would load the bases, and with two outs, Eric Thomas lined the game winning hit through the left side of the infield. The 12-11 victory was the closest game all season.
The win in the championship game would be the sealer on an unbelievable season. The team went undefeated for the year with two shutouts to their credit (the only two in the league this year). Proud to be a Pea Picker! ~ K. Doran |
