We mourn the loss of our brother Daniel "Homer" Lewis, who went home to God on 10/15/2020. Life Member, Obligated April 2004, active May 2004. Thank you for your 15 years 7 months of Active Duty. Plan on next year's raffle being held around same time of year, with tickets going out in January 2021. We will monitor the pandemic and adjust accordingly in regards to another virtual event or regular live, in-person event. Sorry for the modified experience, and thank you for your support!!
Unfortunately the 27th Point Pleasant Fireman’s Association Sportsman Raffle will have to be POSTPONED. We are sorry for this delay however as we are sure all of you can understand we cannot at this time hold such a large event due to the Corona-virus Restrictions. We truly want all of our guests to feel as safe as possible at such an event and our best course of action is to postpone the event until September 26th, 2020.
All pre-sale tickets will be honored for the new date and we will have all of the same items on sale during the new day of the event as we would have had on April 18th. We will also send out reminder postcards a few weeks before the September 26th date to all ticket buyers. All times indicated on the current raffle tickets for entry, start of raffle and certain prize drawings will remain the same. We also will extend ticket sales up to September 1st, 2020 so that anyone who has to delay purchasing tickets due to the current situation can do so. For additional info please check back to this page periodically. All of us at Point Pleasant want to thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this situation and we hope to see you in September. STAY SAFE In light of the current pandemic, the Point Pleasant Fire Department has decided to close the firehouse to the public until further notice. All outside activities hosted at the firehouse have been cancelled, as well as many of our internal activities. This includes events in our social hall. We are evaluating the status of the Sportsmen Raffle and will let everyone know the game plan as soon as possible.
